Giant humans may have literally once roamed the Earth.
There have been numerous reports over the years of giant human skeletons being found in North America and elsewhere around the world. In addition, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding their origin and legitimacy.

There is also theory that the Smithsonian Institute has suppressed any evidence (i.e., skeletons) of giants that once existed in the U.S.
Richard Dewhurst, author of The Ancient Giants Who Ruled America, points to a man named John Wesley Powell, the U.S. Director of Ethnology in 1879 who ran the Smithsonian in its nascent years. In his research, Dewhurst uncovered what he refers to as the Powell Doctrine – a paper issued on behalf of the Smithsonian, which issued a decree that no anthropological research should consider any talk of lost tribes henceforth, while also describing natives as uncultured, savage, and lacking signs of higher intellect.
“Hence it will be seen that it is illegitimate to use any pictographic matter of a date anterior to the discovery of the continent by Columbus for historic purposes,” Powell wrote.
It’s unclear whether this was Powell’s decision or if it came from instructions on high, however Dewhurst believes its clear manifest destiny tone led to the subsequent Smithsonian cover up of an ancient race of giants who preceded Native Americans.

Could giant humans have really existed and roamed the Earth in the past? Apparently, they may have.
The Denisovans are an extinct relative of modern humans that also share a common ancestor with Neanderthals. Little is known about this category of hominin, which is currently considered to be either a subspecies (Homo sapiens denisova) or a distinct species altogether (Homo denisova).
Remains of several distinct individuals have been uncovered in a Siberian cave named Denisova in recent years, beginning with the discovery of a single fingerbone in 2008. A single mandible most likely belonging to an adolescent was uncovered high in a Tibetan cave, eventually reported as Denisovan in 2019. The first-ever Denisovan skull fragments were also described in 2019.
The Denisovans had big teeth, and a large jaw. The molars were quite large, leading some to speculate that the Denisovans were much larger than modern humans, perhaps a “giant” race. Recent discoveries have reinforced this view: (Our Emerging Ancestors the Denisovans)

His abnormal growth was related to “gigantism” which is a condition characterized by excessive growth and height significantly above average. In humans, this condition is caused by over-production of growth hormone in childhood, resulting in people 7 to 9 ft (2.1 to 2.7 m) in height. (Wikipedia Gigantism)
Even the Bible refers to giants – the Nephilim.
When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. For centuries, scholars from Judaism and Christianity have presented different views on who the Nephilim were.
1. The first view is that fallen angels had relations with the “daughters of men,” which resulted in a part human, part supernatural being – the Nephilim.
2. The second position held by some is that demons or fallen angels possessed men, then had relations with the “daughters of men,” resulting in the Nephilim.
3. A third position, called the Sethite View, is held by some scholars. The Sethite View defines the “sons of God” as the righteous line of Seth.
4. Lastly, a view held by the minority is the “sons of God” were simply fallen men.
